A special congratulations to Donald Aumick for graduating in March of 2013, from Wyotech-Blairsville in Indiana, Pa.  Donald studied Diesel/Automotive Vehicle Technology.  Donald Aumick is a 2012 graduate from North Penn High School.
Donald's family stated, "We are all proud of you and keep up the good work."  Family members also expressed good luck to him at his new job.
Donald Aumick is the son of Margie McClure and stepson of Mark McClure.  He is the grandson of Rex and Joan Aumick, nephew of D.J. Stevenson, Shawn Aumick and cousin of Country Aumick all of Blossburg.
This Saturday, April 6th starting at 2pm there will be a benefit Pull Pork Dinner is being held for Mike Piontek.  Dinner will be held at the Blossburg Fire Hall.  Mr. Piontek is dealing kidney disease and is on dialysis.  Please pull together to help Mike out by simply enjoying a delicious dinner of BBQ pork, baked beans, macaroni salad, cole slaw and a roll for only $8.00!
Dinner Tickets are on sale at the Brick Tavern, the Bear A, Bergy's and Kim's Hair Connection.  Also Carl Gibbon is selling tickets at the Lawrenceville plant.  Shelly Lee is selling tickets at the Morris Run Legion.  If you would like to make a donation or need more information please contact Shelly Lee at 404-1912.  Those wishing to send a monetary donation to Mike can send checks to Shelly Lee at P.O. On Wed., April 17th there will be a spaghetti dinner from 5pm to 7pm at the North Penn High School.  Proceeds will benefit the Culture Club's trip to sunny California.  Early ticket sales will be available at the school or from any Culture Club member from April 3rd to April 12th.  Let us help these students reach their goal for this planned trip. 
Area United Methodist Churches (Blossburg, Covington, Mainesburg, Mansfield and Roseville) will hold a Wills & Estate Planning Seminar on April 7th at 7pm in the First UMC Mansfield sanctuary at 67 East Wellsboro Street, Mansfield.
Rev. Phyllis M. Bowers, Executive Director of the the United Methodist Stewardship Foundation, serving the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church will be present to answer questions and review procedures for planning wills, estates and other financial considerations.  Everyone is invited to attend this seminar.  this is an opportunity to get answers to questions, participate in open discussion and receive free literature about wills, trusts, estate planning, charitable giving, joint ownership, state and federal taxes, estate settlement and gift annuities.

There is a new non denominational forming church located at 75 Tioga St in Morris Run.   For those of you who know the area, it is the former St. Josephs church.  Services are being held every Thursday night at  7:00pm.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
