A fundraiser will be held this Sat., June 30th, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Island Park in Blossburg, Pa. This benefit will help the families involved in the main street fire. The North Penn High School Key Club will host a BAKE SALE while the Cheerleaders will hold a SILENT AUCTION and the Northern Tier Helping Hands will have a YARD SALE. KC 101 will also be there doing a live broadcast! If you would like to help you can bring down donations of used items for the yard sale, or bring in an item for the silent auction or drop off a baked good item. These groups would appreciate it greatly. For more information on donating something or offering to help, please call Janie at 659-5296. We can pull together and truly help these families.
Blossburg VIBE will meet on Wed., June 27th, from 6:30-8pm a the Brick Tavern. Come see what this community group is all about!

UPCOMING EVENTS
Blossburg VIBE Chicken BBQ will be held on July 7th, 10am to noon in front of the Bloss Holiday Market. Chicken will be cooked by Sleezy! Come out and support this community group and enjoy some tasty chicken.
The New Visions UM Parish (Blossburg UMC & Covington UMC) invite the public to a free family event. We are hosting a Parking Lot Party, Sat., July 7th, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the North Parking Lot of First UMC Blossburg, (the church by the green bridge). This event features games and prizes for children, face-painting, music, snacks and more.
Vacation Bible School at Blossburg UMC begins Sun., July 9th through Thurs., July 12th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Children can pre-register at the Parking Lot Party on the 7th. VBS is for children ages preschool through those entering 6th grade. Our mission project for this year will be to collect peanut butter and small pet toys and will benefit the Animal Care Sanctuary in Wellsboro. There will be a special service at the Blossburg UMC, Sun., July 8th at 10:30 am which will be held in the Social Room instead of the sanctuary. Visitors are welcome.
On Sat., Aug. 4th there will be a 5K race to help support the Island Park Swimming Pool. Registration will begin at 7:45 and the race will start at 9:00 am. Registration fee will be $15.00 and those forms are available at the Borough office or online.
