I have been working on an "unique" article which will appear next week in this column and I am sure you will be interested in how it ties into Blossburg, Pa.
 
However, this week I want to remind those parents who want to give their children something fun to do, that the Little League baseball and softball sign-ups start this weekend!  The North Penn Little League will hold sign-ups on the following Saturdays:  January 14th, 21st and the 28th from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., at the North Penn High School gym. 
 
Also there is a $30.00 fee for the first child and $25.00 for each additional family member.  Please remember to bring a copy of each child's brith certificate at the the time of registration.  The deadline to register your child is January 31st.  Registration forms can be picked up at the North Penn High School office and can be mailed to Kevin Kling, 232 Granger Street, Blossburg, Pa. 16912.  Any questions please call Kevin Kling at (570) 404-0580 or Percy Johnson at (570) 404- 2696.
 
Mark your calendars for Bingo at St. Mary's Hall every Monday night at  6:30 PM.
Kiwanis Club of Blossburg meets next Thursday, January 19th, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM at the KCC building in the Island Park.
 
Blossburg V.I.B.E. is ready to move forward into the new year and they would like to invite you to join them on Wednesday, January 25th at 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brick Tavern.

MEETINGS

We meet the fourth Wednesday of each month, usually at the Brick Tavern. Our next meeting is Wednesday, April 25,  6:30 p.m. ath the Brick Tavern.
