Sorry this post is so late at making it here. Internet connection problems delayed my posting.
Congratulations to all the members of the Covington Baptist Church for an excellent Christmas program that was held on the 18th.
It was cookie baking time for Tony Lupkowski again! He got to spend several days with his daughter in Pittsburgh. While he was there, Tony assisted in baking 109 dozen or slightly over 1300 cookies! Including a few Polish tasty treats.
Also Tony's granddaughter, Helena, was commissioned as an Extraordinary Minister at a special mass for students on Dec. 12th. She is a senior at Seton LaSalle High School in Mount Lebanon. Our congratulations go out to her!
Diane Roupp and Donald Smithers from Blossburg would like to wish their son, Donnie Smithers a happy birthday. Donnie will turn 16 on Dec. 23rd.
I would like to thank all the residents of Blossburg and surrounding areas for decorating your yards and houses for the holidays. It really adds to the charm and warmth of our town.
Now that the weather has finally changed over, please keep your sidewalks clear of snow and ice. This reminder is for the protection of your local mail carrier.
In closing, please travel safely this holiday season and from me to you, have a Merry Christmas!
