ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Don't miss the N.P. Panther Homecoming festivities on Friday, Sept. 29. The fun will begin with a parade downtown at 6pm, followed by the game against Canton at 7pm. Half time shows include, the crowning of the homecoming queen, Panther Cheerleaders dance routine and the Canton Band. Line up for the parade is at 5:15pm at the high school.

The Hillside Rod and Gun Club will hold a special club hours for it's members on Friday nights after the HOME Varsity Panther Football games on 9/29 against Canton and 10/13 against Muncy from 8pm to Midnight.

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month! All students grades K-12who sign up for a new library card this month will be entered in a drawing for prizes on Sept. 29.

The Friends of the library are holding an ongoing book sale at the library. All books are only $1.

The Kiwanis Club will be holding an auction on Saturday, Sept. 30th at 10am, rain or shine, at the Island Park.

First Citizens National Bank in Blossburg will be having a Football Party on Sept. 29th. They will be celebrating "Homecoming" and serving nachos and dip. The public is invited.

Last chance to sign up for Weight Watcher's in Blossburg. The meetings will be held on Wednesdays at The First United Methodist Church. The cost for membership is $125.00 for a 10 week program. To sign up or for more information, contact Laura Miller at 638-2334 or Amy Augustine at 638-3597.

REMINDERS:

A food pantry is held the 3rd Monday each month from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm at The First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570)638-2805.

The Farmer's Market is at the Blossburg Plaza every Sat., 8 a.m.- 1p.m., rain or shine. New vendors are welcome. For information, contact Tonya at mcnamara@epix.net.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30pm and every Wednesday at the fire & ambulance building, 6:30pm
