Blossburg V.I.B.E. is looking for someone to take over writing this much loved column. It takes about 30-45 minutes per week to compile the information. Blossburg Memorial Library news: Story hour for preschool children will start Thursday, Oct. 4, at 10 a.m.

The Friends of the Library will hold its third annual book sale October 15-20, 2007 in the community room of the library. To donate books, contact the library at 570-638-2197 or blosslib@epix.net. Genealogy classes for adults will be held on Saturday mornings at the library. Please contact the library at 570-638-2197 or blosslib@epix.net for more information or to register for the class.

The library's website, www.BlossburgMemorialLibrary.com will help you keep up to date on what's happening at the library and includes the entire card catalog. The library also has Internet-connected computers for use by the public for free and wireless Internet access for those who wish to bring their own laptops.

Angelina's Pizzeria will reopen Oct. 1. We wish Nate McNamara and Don Jacopetti the best of luck in bringing great fresh pizza back to Blossburg.

North Penn High School homecoming with a parade and football game will be Friday, Oct. 5. To participate in the parade, contact the school at 570-638-2158. The game will be against South Williamsport at 7 p.m. at Jones Memorial Field at Island Park.

Blossburg V.I.B.E. sponsors a weekly farmers' market in the Riverside Plaza parking lot every Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. On the last Friday of the month, there is also a flea market, including this Saturday, Sept. 29. A food pantry is held the third Monday each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570) 638-2805.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30 p.m.
