5-year-old Adam Schultz of Blossburg was seriously injured on Saturday. His collarbone is broken and he has two nasty bumps on his head. After being Life Flighted to Geisinger in Danville, he spent the night in intensive care. On Sunday, his mother, Karen, reported that he was out of ICU, keeping clear liquids down, and doing much better. Adam would love to receive cards and other well-wishes. His address is: Adam Schultz, 208 Granger St., Blossburg, PA 16912. Let's all pray for his rapid healing.

Last Sunday (Sept. 20), the First Baptist Church of Blossburg celebrated American Baptist Women's Sunday. The women organized and conducted the entire service. All of the women in attendance gathered at the front of the sanctuary and offered "In My Heart There Rings a Melody" to the congregation. It was also Laymen's Sunday, and the morning message ("Tools of the Trade") delivered by Barb Slocum, was doubly appropriate.
