First Baptist Church of Blossburg will celebrate American Baptist Women's Sunday on September 14. The men of First Baptist Church are planning their regular monthly breakfast on Saturday, September 13. They will meet at FBC at 8:00am.

Have you noticed the new banners on the light poles downtown Blossburg.

The "Panther" banners were purchased by the Blossburg Improvement Association and installed by the Blossburg Boro employees Friday. They will show everyone visiting Blossburg our team spirit!

The Blossburg Coal Festival Committee will be sponsoring a "Fall Festival" this year on October 11th at the Riverside Plaza parking lot. Vendors welcome. Call Kathy Pearson at 639-0274 for more information.

Blossburg VIBE and Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority will be providing recycling bins for computers, clothing and magazines during the "Fall Festival".

If you have grown any pumpkins this summer, bring them to the "Fall Festival" to be measured and a prize will be given to the largest!
