Happy Anniversary to Glenn and Kathryn Whittaker, of Blossburg, who will be celebrating their 40th on August 6. Congratulations!

Happy Birthday to Stephen Hall on Aug. 3; Nicole Hall, Jaycob and Jayd Myers, Aug. 4; Katie Tice, Aug. 5; Kathy Brooks, Aug. 7; and William Krause, Aug. 8.

Tom Mcnamara recently attended the Hall of Fame induction weekend in Cooperstown, NY. While there, he got to meet his favorite Yankee player, Yogi Berra !

Toddler University will be starting their Pre-Kindergarten and Early Preschool programs beginning August 28th. There are limited openings for each program. Pre-K is open to children ages 3 1/2 - 5 yrs. Early preschool is open to children age 3 by Sept. 30. For more information, call Toddler University at (570) 638-3459.

As football season approaches, practices for youth through high school teams are held at the Island Park. The times of practices range from day to evening hours. Please note that the speed limit through the park is 10 MPH. There will be children crossing the park roads at all hours of the day. Please help keep our children safe.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30pm and every Wednesday at the fire & ambulance building, 6:30pm
