Happy 10th birthday to Jayd and Jaycob Myers of Blossburg on Aug.4.

There will be a used book sale on Wednesday, Aug.1st, at the old ambulance bldg. (next to the Acorn). The sale will benefit the Blossburg Memorial Library. The library is also accepting book donations for the October book sale. Call 638-2197 for more information.

There will be a chicken BBQ at the Holiday Mkt.on Saturday, Aug.4th at 10:30 am. Sponsored by Kiwanis, the proceeds will benefit the Siloa Lutheran Church.

The Blossburg Municipal Authority meeting will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 7th at 7pm at the Blossburg Boro Hall.

REMINDERS:

The Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm in the Blossburg Plaza.Vendors are needed that sell home made crafts,baked goods, grow or pick their own fruits and vegetables etc.For more information call Tonya at 638-3112 or mcnamara@epix.net.

A food pantry is held the 3rd Monday each month from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm at The First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570)638-2805.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30pm and every Wednesday at the fire & ambulance building, 5:30pm
