Get well wishes go out to Helen Staron and Margie Payne, both of Blossburg. Please keep them both in your thoughts and prayers.

The Blossburg swimming pool is now open after school and weekends, weather permitting. Individual and family tickets can be purchased at the pool during open hours.

Friday, June 9, is the last day of school in Blossburg. Please be on the look out for bicycles and children crossing the road and going through parking lots, as they sometimes tend to forget to look. Now is also a good time for parents to review safety procedures with their children.

The theme for this year's summer reading program at the Blossburg Library is Paws, Claws, Scales, and Tales. The reading program will begin July 11 and run every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. until August 15. Children ages 3-12 are encouraged to stop by the library to register. The Blossburg Memorial Library will be having a Bedtime Story Hour on June 21 from 7 p.m.- 8 p.m.

REMINDERS:

The Farmer's Market is at the Blossburg Plaza every Sat., 8 a.m.- 1p.m., rain or shine. New vendors are welcome. For information, contact Tonya at mcnamara@epix.net.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30pm and every Wednesday at the fire & ambulance building, 6:30pm
