Happy Anniversary to Wilford and Alverda Kriner, of Covington, who celebrated their 55th on June 24.

Congratulations to the Tokarz brothers of Blossburg.Their float "Coal Miner's Grand daughter" won first prize at the State Laurel Festival in Wellsboro last week. Nice job guys for a great representation and recognition of our town.

The annual Sleezy Construction & Barbecue Co. chicken barbecue benefit for V.I.B.E. will be this Saturday, June 30 at 10:30am in front of the Holiday Market.

The Blossburg Memorial Library is having a Summer Reading Program June 19- July 24, each Tuesday. There is Story Time (ages 4-8) at 10am, Book Club (ages 9-12) at 10am, and Family Fun Night or Movie Night at 6:30pm. For more information, stop in the library or check out the website at www.blossburgmemoriallibrary.com Tuesday,July 3, will be Family Night with Curious George as the theme. Also, the library is in need of volunteers for the summer reading program. Please contact Shelby Kinsey at 638-2197 if you are interested. Our library is a Wi Fi Zone for those wanting to bring their own laptop in to do work, or use the free wireless Internet services.

Do your spring cleaning and make some cash by selling your extra stuff,collectibles, antiques or other homemade items at the Flea Market held the last Saturday of every month, 8 am to 1 pm at the Riverside Plaza parking lot along with the farmers market. REMINDERS:

The Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm in the Blossburg Plaza.Vendors are needed that sell home made crafts,baked goods, grow or pick their own fruits and vegetables etc.For more information call Tonya at 638-3112 or mcnamara@epix.net.

A food pantry is held the 3rd Monday each month from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm at The First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570)638-2805.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30pm and every Wednesday at the fire & ambulance building, 5:30pm
