The community garden will be leasing 4' x 4' plots for $10.00 and a few 4' x 8' plots for $20.00 per growing season. This is a good way to get your hands dirty and get some great tasting fresh food for your dinner. Experienced growers will be able to assist you if you have never gardened before. Come join the fun!

There will be another Community Garden work bee on Wednesday, May 7th at 6:00 pm. Help us complete this project by the end of the May so as we approach the frost free date for our area, we can have it ready for planting.

Now that it is spring and everyone is thinking about planting...plant some pumpkins for a pumpkin growing contest! VIBE is encouraging everyone to grow a pumpkin to be weighed in at the Fall Festival.

On Wednesday May 14th at 6:30 pm in the Blossburg Library Community Room the Tioga County Parent Advocates in conjunction with the PEAL Center will be showing, “How Difficult Can This Be? The F.A.T. City Workshop.” This unique program allows viewers to experience the same frustration, anxiety and tension that children with learning disabilities face in their daily lives. Discussion will follow. REMINDERS:

A food pantry is held the third Monday each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570) 638-2805.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30 p.m.
