The Blossburg Community Garden planning has begun. Learn how to start seeds and how to care for them until you get them into the garden on Wednesday April 23, 6:00pm at the garden site, unless raining will be held at the Methodist Church Pavilion. Supplies will be provided. The community garden will be leasing 4' x 4' plots for $10.00 and a few 4' x 8' plots for $20.00 per growing season. This is a good way to get your hands dirty and get some great tasting fresh food for your dinner. Experienced growers will be able to assist you if you have never gardened before. Come join the fun!

The Blossburg-North Penn Alumni Association was formed in 1988 as a result of a reunion held by the classes of 1966, 1967 and 1968. Representatives of the three classes, realizing through past experience that it was difficult to generate enough attendance at a reunion to make the work and effort of organizing worthwhile, decided to combine their efforts and organize a three-year reunion. After many positive comments from those attending this three-year reunion and requests from other graduates, the representatives from the three-year reunion and volunteers from other graduating classes combined to start the alumni association. Through the continued interest shown by the attendance of alumni, we have held 19 annual reunions for the attendees and alumni of Blossburg and North Penn High School. The reunions consist of a catered banquet, music and time to reminisce with "old" friends. The date of the reunion is the first Saturday of August each year. Notification is sent to everyone (not just anniversary years) for whom we have addresses. So, if you are interested in attending the annual reunion, and did not receive an invitation by the first of June, and either attended or graduated from Blossburg/North Penn High School, please notify us of your current address. Please register even if you have received an invitation so we may verify current addresses, spellings, etc. and add e-mail addresses. You can register at www.blossburg.org
