Track season is here! The first meet is March 31 away; at Montoursville. The first home meet will be April 11 against Athens. Come out and support the kids!
April 1: Panther Basketball will be having a chicken barbeque starting at 10:30am in front of the Holiday Market. Chicken cooked by Sleezy.
April 2: Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m.. Please remember to turn your clocks ahead one hour and change the batteries in your smoke detectors.
April 8: Siloa Lutheran Church, Morris Run, will be having a chicken barbeque starting at 10:30am in front of the Holiday Market. Bake sale starts at 9:00am.
Hillside Rod and Gun Trap Field Practice begins on April 5 at 4pm. We will be open for practice every Wed. at 4pm; except the second Wed. of each month. Instead we will be open for practice on Thurs. at 4pm. Price is $2 for members and $3 for non-members for one round of 25. The public is welcome.
Library News: The spring session of Preschool Story Hour will be April 6-May 25, 2006. Please use the Community Room entrance at the rear of the building. Parents are welcome to stay and participate with stories and crafts.
The Friends will have their annual Book Sale May 18-20. The library will be accepting donations of books, videos, DVDs, and CDs in good condition. We will not be taking Reader's Digest Condensed Books. Please contact the library for more information.
Arnot Sportman's Scholarship applications are available in the guidance office. Applications are due April 21st.
There are two $1000 scholarships available from the Morris Run American Legion for seniors who are planning to attend 2 year and 4 year colleges. Please pick up an information packet in the guidance office.
The Mansfield Rotary Club has several scholarship opportunities available at this time: For Seniors, they are offering 2 Book Scholarships, each one is worth $250. For Sophomores, there is scholarship money available for leadership camp this summer. Please see Mrs Barton or Mrs Harer in the guidance office for more information on these scholarships.
