Birthdays: Katelyn Kinsey, March 22

March 24 1st Annual Hillside Rod and Gun Club Coyote Hunt starts March 24th at 12am and ends March 26th at 2pm. Open to anyone with a valid Pennsylvania hunting license. $10 Registration Fee due by March 23rd

March 24 Boys Jr High Basketball 6pm Vs. Williamson at home.

March 28 Girls Jr High Basketball 6pm Vs. Mansfield at home.

Track season is here! The first meet is March 30 away; at Montoursville. The first home meet will be April 11 against Athens. Come out and support the kids!

April 1 Panther Basketball will be having a chicken barbeque starting at 10:30am in front of the Holiday Market. Chicken cooked by Sleezy.

April 8 First UMC is going to start a new worship service on Saturdays at 5pm. The worship services will have contemporary music and an informal style. All persons are welcome to join us in praise and in drawing near to God.

Also at UMC is Pilates classes Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm in the Social room.

Library News: The spring session of Preschool Story Hour will be April 6-May 25, 2006. Please use the Community Room entrance at the rear of the building. Parents are welcome to stay and participate with stories and crafts.

The Friends will have their annual Book Sale May 18-20, 2006. The library will be accepting donations of books, videos, DVDs, and CDs in good condition. We will not be taking Reader's Digest Condensed Books. Please contact the library for more information.

Matthew 25 Food pantry's shelves are low now; they especially need string beans, peas, peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti and instant potatoes.

North Ruah Street has a new look; the 100+ year old Emmanuel Church has been torn down. The church closed it's doors in 2005 due to a dwindling congregation and it was sold in February of 2006.

Blossburg V.I.B.E. awarded grants in November to Blossburg Main Street property owners Stephen ("Doc") and Pat Ollock and Jill and Shane Nickerson for improvements to facades of their buildings at 228 and 242 Main Street , respectively.
