Happy 1st birthday to James McNelly on Feb 16; Raymond Smith the 18th; Wayne Hocker, 20th; Isabel Berguson, and Jesse Wilson, the 23rd; Michael Kichline, the 26th; B. Richard Llewellyn Sr, the 28th. Happy Anniversary to Bob and Doris Scheerer on Feb. 20.

Congratulations to the North Penn Panthers on becoming the NTL Champions! What an awesome season!! Good luck at Districts! I also wanted to comment on how impressive it is to see the fan support at NP. It's remarkable to see both elementary and high school students alike, cheering for their team. The kids that painted themselves were great- nice touch! The students do a great job of keeping the players pumped up, along with the cheerleaders, for the entire game!

Blossburg VIBE's monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday February 21, 2007 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm in the Blossburg Memorial Library Conference Room. New people are welcome.

VIBE is holding a public meeting on Monday, March 5, at 6pm in the community room of the Blossburg Memorial Library to inform the community about the Skate Park project and to solicit community input. A skate park is a facility to safely use skateboards and in-line skates. The purpose of this project in Blossburg is to improve social and recreation options for youth in the North Penn area specifically, but also all of the Southern Tioga School District area. The skate park will be located on the current basketball court on Island Park in Blossburg. A food pantry is held the 3rd Monday each month from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm at The First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570)638-2805.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30pm and every Wednesday at the fire & ambulance building, 5:30pm

BINGO has changed at the Blossburg Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Building. It's still every Wednesday night. The doors open at 5pm. However,effective February 14th, Bingo will start at 6:00pm INSTEAD of 6:30pm.

Weight Watchers meet every Wednesday at The First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh in starts at 5:15 pm.
