The 2008 presidential election season is upon us. Republicans and Democrats will head to the polls on April 22 for the primary election to determine who the parties' candidates will be in November. If you want to vote, you must register by March 24. How? Go here and register online: https://www.pavoterservices.state.pa.us/Pages/
VoterRegistrationApplication.aspx. The library has free internet access for everyone, so there are no excuses for not being registered!

North Penn Little League sign ups will be held Saturday, February 23, 2008 in the North Penn High School gym lobby from 9:00 am to Noon. Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate. Sign up fee is $20.00 for first child and $15.00 for each additional child. Last day to sign your child up is March 31, 2008. Applications can also be picked up at First Citizens National Bank Blossburg from Paula Johnson and at Blossburg Elementary School from Tom Dickinson.

The Friends of the Blossburg Memorial Library wine and cheese party has been rescheduled for February 26 at 6:30 PM in the community room of the library. Pat Owens will be the guest speaker.

On March 8, 2008 at 1 PM, the library will be hosting author, Kevin Coolidge, illustrator, Susan Gage and Hobo of the book Hobo Finds a Home.

REMINDERS:

A food pantry is held the third Monday each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570) 638-2805.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30 p.m.
