Happy New Year 2010! We wish everyone a prosperous year.

Happy belated birthday to Tracy Buck of Morris Run (January 2). Congratulations to Tracy and Zack on the birth of their daughter, Gwenevere Anne. She was born December 6, weighing 7lbs. 5.4oz, and was 19 inches long. Belated birthday wishes also go out to Darlene Lattimer, who celebrated on January 4.

The next regular meeting of the Southern Tioga School Board will be held at North Penn High School on January 11, beginning at 6:30pm. On January 18, there will be a public meeting at North Penn, beginning at 6:30pm. Les Bear, the district's financial consultant, and architect Sam Scarantino will present information. There will also be a time for public comments. The public is encouraged to attend both meetings.

Cheryl Boinske's illness is keeping her homebound. She would appreciate visits, cards, and letters. Her address is 112 Ruah St Blossburg, Pa 16912. Please keep Cheryl in your thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations to Ed Slocum, who has earned his brown belt in karate and is already working toward getting his black belt. His mother, Barb Slocum, is very proud of his achievement!
