It has come to my attention recently, that not everyone has access to the internet and cannot view the websites listed in this column. The Blossburg Memorial Library has several computers connected to the internet for the public's use, at no charge. All you need is a library card to utilize this service. If you do not know how to use the web, the staff will be happy to assist you. In the event that you cannot get to the library, feel free to call me, Rhonda Myers, at (570) 638-3193, and I will assist you in anyway that I can.
Is anyone in Blossburg interested in starting up another Moose Lodge? There used to be one about 20 years ago. The rules have changed and now all that is needed is twenty-five men to start up a "Moose Service Center", which is a group of men, without a lodge building, designed to be of service to their community and the Fraternity. Once instituted, all members would be full fledged members of the Loyal Order of Moose with rights and privileges of any member. For more information contact Regional Manager Stan Adams atsadams@mooseintl.org. or visit www.mooseintl.org. It would be great to bring the Moose back to Blossburg for another try.
