Have you made your New Year's Resolution yet? How about making a promise to attend the next Blossburg V.I.B.E. meeting! It will be held Wednesday, January 21st at 6 pm in the community room of the Blossburg Library. Planning for 2009 events will be done, so, come and be a part of what you would like to see happen in Blossburg. The main focus will be reviving and recruiting for current action groups; Community Garden/Garden Club, Downtown Facade Committee, Skate Board Park/Youth Activities Committee, Farmers Market Committee, Blossburg FreeNet Committee, Communications Committee.

Mark your calendar for the 21st annual reunion of graduates and attendees of the Blossburg & North Penn High School on Saturday, August 1, 2009. Those especially urged to attend are the members of the classes that ended in "4" and "9". Be sure your current mailing address and name has been sent to the alumni association. If you are not sure, then go to: http://www.blossburg.org/alumni/ and send it again. Mark "yes" if you would like your name added to the alumni directory.

The Friends of the Blossburg Memorial Library promote the use and appreciation of this community asset through advocacy, volunteer services, and fund raising. Join over 60 members in our mission of supporting library activities. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month except July & August at 6:30 PM in the community room of the library.
