The new "Welcome to Blossburg" sign was installed by Tyoga Writing and
Design today. It had to be moved forward several feet from the proposed location due to a large concrete slab that was in the way. There are several smaller signs blocking the view that will be moved to another location, and the old sign will be removed as weather allows. Drive by and check it out!

Mrs. Everett's Advanced Foods class responded to the "Goodies for Our Troops" and prepared over 100 special Christmas bags that were sent to our troops in Iraq. Students decided from the troop's favorite food list of what to prepare and bag for them. Items included fudge, chocolate covered pretzels, marshmallow treat wreaths, and gingerbread cutout cookies. Students delivered the goodies to Park Hill Manor in Wellsboro and received community service credit for helping to pack the goodies to be sent to the troops. Congratulations on a great job!
Students included: Samantha Andrews, Rachel Carlson, Jackie Frederick, Victor Histand, Marty Blasz, Heather Baker, Country Aumick, and Jeremy Shatley.
Congratulations to Country Jo Aumick for representing North Penn High School at District Band. She will be traveling to Towanda with Mr. Jonathan Ruth on January 9 - 12, 2008. Good Luck Country Jo!
