Nov 14-11:30am - 12:30pm Communities that Care will meet at the Blossburg Memorial Library. Communities that Care is a work group of the Tioga County Partnership for Community Health. The Tioga County Partnership for Community Health is a countywide network of individuals, business executives, community leaders, health care providers, and human service personnel whose mission is to improve the health and quality of life of individuals and communities in Tioga County.
Parent conferences will be held at the school on Thursday, November 15th and Friday, November 16th Students will be dismissed at 11:30 AM on both days.
Environmental Fair Sat, Nov 17- 10am - 2pm "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" Collecting magazines/catalogs, old computers, cell phones, outgrown clothing. The Lupus Support Group will hold their next meeting on November 19th. Regular Meetings are every third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the community room of Blossburg Memorial Library. Family and friends are welcome. For more information, contact Amy Ogden:
Nov 19 - Blue and White Music Boosters Meeting. The Boosters meet on the fourth Monday of every month to support the Blossburg Music Department. Any community member who wants to support our music department is welcome to join! Meetings begin at 7pm in the High School Library.

Wed, Nov 21, 6:00pm - 7:30pm Blossburg Visions in Business and Entertainment (VIBE) Monthly Meeting . All of our monthly meetings are open to the general public to come in an find out more about our organization, get involved in an action team or start a new project under V.I.B.E.
Schools and school offices will be closed for Thanksgiving Break Thursday, November 22nd -- Tuesday, November 27th. 11:30 AM-early dismissal for students on Wednesday, November 21st.
The Junior/Senior High School Chorus will be participating in the Boscov’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia! ABC coverage of the parade will begin at 8:30 am, November. 22.
The Blossburg Fire Department and Blossburg Firemen's Ambulance Association will be holding a Chicken & Biscuit Dinner on December 2, 2007 at 11:30am - 2:00pm at the Fire Hall. Dinners will be served until sold out, either before or after 2 pm. Enjoy good food, friendly people and support our Fire and Ambulance Departments!! A gun raffle will be conducted by the departments and drawing will take place at the end of dinner. For more information on the gun raffle contact Megan at 638-2056 or 404-1659.
Mark your calendars for our school Holiday Concerts. BES Band & Chorus Concert is on Tuesday, December 11th at 7:00pm and the NPHS Band & Chorus Concert is on Wednesday, December 12th at 7:00pm.
The Blue Thunder Percussion Ensemble, under the Direction of Mr. Jon Ruth, is about to begin it's second year of existence after a great first season in 2007! Rehearsals will begin in November and anyone in grades 7-12 from the Southern Tioga School District is welcome to audition!
The North Penn Area United Fund thanks all of those who have sent in your donations so far and would like to encourage those who have not sent their donation in yet to do so. Ward Manufacturing has agreed to match all citizen donations, any amount you send in will be doubled, so be generous. After all the funds appear to be collected, the Blossburg Recreation Board will meet and decide how the money will be divided between the requesting organizations. In the past money has been given to the Salvation Army, Little League, Blossburg Recreation, Blossburg Fire and Ambulance Department, Blossburg Library and Partners in Progress. No administration fees are paid and all funds are kept in the Blossburg, Arnot, Covington and Morris Run area. If you did not receive a donation request and would like to make a donation you may do so at: North Penn Area United Fund, PO Box 21, Blossburg, PA 16912.
REMINDERS:
A food pantry is held the third Monday each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570) 638-2805.
T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.
Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30 p.m.
