Blue & White Music Booster Club is sponsoring a haunted house to benefit the Southern Tioga Marching Band, North Penn High School band, colorguard and chorus. Lee Carroll Russell and Amy Ogden have been guiding the development of the haunted house.
It is located at the corner of Main St. and Carpenter St.,(Opposite First Citizen Bank) Oct 26th 6 pm - 10 pm, 27th: 1 pm - 5 pm (matinee) & 6 pm - 10 pm,
Adults $4 Students $2 Matinee $2
Blossburg Halloween Night will be on Oct. 31 w/parade at 5 pm and Trick or
Treating from 6 to 8 pm. Turn on porch light if welcoming "spooky visitors".
Bossburg Fire Department will be holding Super Bingo! on Nov. 10th. Tickets on sale now until Nov. 7th. $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Door opens at 10:30am Bingo starts at 1pm. Early instant ticket sales, food available at low prices, limited seating. Three jackpots, forty games, $4000.00 total payout.
Environmental Fair:
We are looking for groups or individuals who would like to display a
booth at our environmental fair November 17th, downtown Blossburg from
10 am to 2 pm. The theme is "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" and anything locally produced and/or environmentally beneficial. Examples would be; information on solar power, reducing electric use with low watt light bulbs and energy efficient appliances, purchasing of eco-friendly items, supporting our environment with healthy
gardening/farming practices, "green" building practices, water conservation, etc!
Booths can be informational and/or fun, such as a game relating to the topic, or could sell or give out samples of environmentally friendly products, preferably locally made or grown. Farmers, gardeners, composters, bee keepers, maple syrup producers,Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H, youth groups and interested individuals please apply!
Put your thinking caps on and spread the word to help us make this a fun, educational event. In the mean time collect up your magazines, old computers, cell phones, outgrown clothing to bring to the fair and dispose of them in the recycle bins provided by NTSWA.

A food pantry is held the third Monday each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570) 638-2805.
T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.
Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30 p.m.
Blossburg V.I.B.E. sponsors a weekly farmers' market in the Riverside Plaza parking lot every Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. On the last Friday of the month, there is also a flea market.
