ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Preschool Story Hour will be held every Thursday from Oct.5-Nov. 30 at 10am in the community room at the Blossburg Memorial Library.

Teen Read Week is Oct.15-21. Stop by the library or check out the website(www.blossburgmemoriallibrary.com) for a schedule of events.

The book club is reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi this month. The book club meets the last Monday of each month at 6:30pm in the community room. Free babysitting services are available. Call the library at 638-2197 for more information.

The library is collecting new socks during the month of October for the "Sock it to Us" Program sponsored by the Foster Grandparent Program.

Thomson Gale Legal Forms are now available on the library website.

The Hillside Rod and Gun Club will hold special club hours for it's members on Friday nights after the HOME Varsity Panther Football games on 10/13 against Muncy from 8pm to Midnight.

REMINDERS:

A food pantry is held the 3rd Monday each month from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm at The First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570)638-2805.

The Farmer's Market is at the Blossburg Plaza every Sat., 8 a.m.- 1p.m., rain or shine. New vendors are welcome. For information, contact Tonya at mcnamara@epix.net.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30pm and every Wednesday at the fire & ambulance building, 6:30pm
