- Connect new 8" DIP on Hannibal Sf. to main water line on Davis Sf. Fill up new pipe and bleed out air through hydrant. Let sit for weekend .
- Clean Hannibal Sf. where water line was installed, and then wash down road.

- Start cleaning sludge out of drying beds at stp.
- Flush new 8" DIP water main on Hannibal St.
- Install inserts in sewer manholes, which will prevent storm water and dirt from entering top of manholes .
- Clean Davis Lane ditchline with dozer rented from Lisowski. Do touch up work with backhoe.

- Clean up rest of sludge from stp drying beds.
- Disconnect water service from old water main on Hannibal St. and tie into new 8" DIP .
- Dan and I attend Susquehanna River Basin Commission meeting at Wellsboro in afternoon.
- Calling for heavy rain and possible flooding conditions today. Rain start in afternoon. Shut down Bellman filter and turn on Sportsman's Well.

- Got around 5" of rain. Tioga River level at 4' at 10 AM. Check sewer manholes around town .
- Clean catch basins around town.
- Ditch line that was cleaned on Davis line worked well.
- Water runoff from Taylor Run sandbank washed out edge of Taylor Run Rd.

- Start Bellman filter back up.
- Check for infiltration around town .
- Tennis courts have large cracks in them. Lock access gates to courts until we get damage repaired .
- Disconnected another water service from old Hannibal St. water line and tie into new 8" DIP .

- Start work on cleaning cracks on tennis courts.
- Call water customers that will be affected by water shutdown tomorrow when disconnect old 4" CIP on Hanibal St. from water system.
- Drop sludge into 2 drying beds at stp .

- Disconnect and cap off ends of old Hanibal St. line on Davis and Granger Sts. Pull old fire hydrant on Granger St .
- Liquid Fuels auditor worked on Boro records today .
- Locate material to repair cracks on Island Park tennis courts.
- Talked to Fire Chief and they are receptive to have Borough voting done in their new building. More room for parking and people at their location compared to Boro Hall.

- Start reading water meters.
- Dig up sewer main on Davis St. to look for possible break in line. Line not broken but water running through sewer lateral.
- Check air release valve on Parkhurst St. Top of pit is broken and valve not working. Order parts to repair.

- Read water meters.
- Work on tennis courts cleaning out cracks and filling in voids to within ¾" of surface .
- Pension auditor complete final meeting for pension reports in morning .

- Rain all day. Heavier rain at night.
- Clean garage and work on equipment.
- Meeting with contractors about new store at Rt. 15 interchange.

- Flooding conditions in some areas of Blossburg. Tioga River level at 10' around 4:00 AM. Rain stopped and river level dropping. Down to 7.5' by 9AM. Got about 6- of rain.
- Run pumps at stp pump house to control water.

- Call in 2 employees to check water level in sewer manholes and try to identify any infiltration.

- Pull pumps at stp pump house. Called DEP to report .
- Lot of debris washed into Bellman Reservoir after flood. Have to schedule for cleaning.

- Start work on tennis courts again.
- Rod in stp grease pits that controls supernatant broke. Will call repair company for part.

- Finish prep work on cracks in tennis courts, and then fill cracks with rubber material that has to be heated and then poured into voids. Lock up tennis court gates and let material set up .
- Contact roofing contractor about repairing leak in Boro Hall roof.

- Replace air release valve in water pit on Parkhurst/Nevins Sts. Intersection.
- Haul sludge from basement at Bellman filter.
- Start work on 2005 budget in morning.

- Work on tennis courts removing any globs or high spots left on surface
of court after filling cracks. Remove chains and locks on gates and open courts to the public.
- Trace out water line on Taber St. in preparation for stream crossing on Boone Run. Old line is in bad shape, plus there is a new convenience store scheduled for construction this fall.

- Most of employees off work today for one reason or another. Only daily routines taken care of today.
- Contractor start moving in equipment to level ground for new construction at Rt. 15 interchange .

- Repair bank that was washed out along Bear Creek.
- Work on meters and repair holes in sewer manholes.
- Tap water line at Bellman filter in two areas where chemicals may be injected into raw water to help filtering process .
- Talk to logger who wants to cut some trees along East Creek Rd. Plans to start this Thursday.

- Called forestry. Dept. to get extension on cutting trees along East Creek Rd. Forester will write up a letter extending permits.
- Boro employee passed CDL test today at Wellsboro.
- NTSWA sweep stones off roads around town that were tar and chipped this summer .
- Start clearing trees that were washed down from flood waters, out of Johnson Creek.

- Logger cut trees along East Creek Rd.
- Finish removing trees in Johnson Creek. Clean some trees out of East Creek also .
