Date	Activity
11-2	Repair water leak at curb box on Gulick St. Save approximately + 10 GPM. Repair leaking hydrant on Gulick St. Install new backwash valves at R & G Well. Flush old NPHC well for 6 1/2 hours while pumping air into casing in hopes of cleaning scale out of casing pipe. Water cleaned up good and water drop to + 20'. Call Authority engineer for suggestions on what to test water for to determine quality .
11-4	Hap Kuster passed away this morning at hospital.
11-5	Winterize half of multrum restroom at Island Park. Meet with STSD about user agreement in regards to school using Island Park for school activities. Have to figure costs for park maintenance and send to Jim Rakoski. Set up voting booths at Boro Hall. Attend Hamilton Twp. meeting to discuss sharing labor costs for water and street employees and possibly police. They will discuss at their budget meeting.
11-6	Put picnic tables at Island Park under cover for the winter. Disconnect water and sewer service to home on Gulick St. that Ward Mfg. is going to demolish. Install repaired booster pump #2 at Bellman filter. Have to get Mike Stoudt to wire up. Election Day. Municipal Authority meeting.
11-7	Boro offices closed for Hap Kuster funeral. Authority engineer fax me parameters for testing water at old NPHC well. Dave Jones gave me computer disk for new Boro/Authority decal. Will take down to Sign Shop.
11-8	Windows at KCC building and pool broken again. Repair with plywood as temporary fix. Install meter pit to water service on S. Wmsn. Rd. Take computer disk with Boro/Authority decal info. to Sign Shop in Mansfield. Chemung Supply locate vendor to supply flagpole. Ordered 20 foot pole, with deiivery date in 8 weeks. Start hauling composted material from stp stockpile to garage to be mixed with dirt for topsoil. Boro solicitor at office to discuss legal issues.
11-9	Finish hauling composted material from stp to garage stockpile. Call Hall's rental about screen and they will deliver next week. LRM at Sportsman's Well to install surge protection on depth probe for well water .
11-12	Haul 2RC stone from quarry to Boro stockpile. Need big pile before ground freezes up. Chemicals delivered to stp and Bellman filter . Meet with Mark Dalton about Boro Insurance. Suggestion to raise deductibles on buildings and equipment to cut down on insurance costs.
11-13	Put up Christmas decorations in afternoon on Main St. poles. Work on snow equipment in preparation for winter . Scott Bray, Dan and I meet with DEP in Williamsport to discuss work to be done at stp on trickling filter . Pick up test bottles from Seewald for water at old NPHC well. New certified assessments delivered today and Jim Bogaczyk made budget adjustments.
11-14	Attend class in Selinsgrove on backflow preventors. Dig out old tree stump behind Little League field at Park and level off knoll. Meeting at Davis Lane cul-de-sac with Boro officials and homeowner . Boro officials meet with residents from Taber Town Apts. to discuss complaints.
11-15	Go to Hall's Rental and bring screen back to Boro stockyard so topsoil can be screened . Put 2 RC along birms on Ruah St. Discuss logging operation with forester about using East Creek bridge. I will call Boro engineer to discuss. Replace bad fire hydrant on corner of Davis & Nevins Sts.
11-16	Take hydraulic angle pistons off dump truck snow plow and take to a shop so they can be repaired. Screen topsoil through screen all day. Cable on garbage truck broke. Rich got parts to repair and will try and fix tomorrow. Discuss log trucks using East Creek bridge with Boro engineer. Recommend steel decking be put over existing bridge decking to handle loads. Have to call Boro solicitor about bonding of road by logging company.
11-19	Screen dirt for topsoil all day. Talk to Forester about East Creek bridge. They will put 6 X 6 wood frame under bridge to support center of span instead of using decking. This will be better for Boro to plow this winter Fill out paperwork required by Tioga County Planning on Kelly subdivision and take to Kelly for signature. Mail check to IDI for work done at Bellman filter plant.
11-20	Finish screening dirt for topsoil today. Will start screening Taylor Run sand tomorrow. Remove old scale signs on old Rt. #15. Will call PennDot when job completed. Jack Kelly bring in signed paperwork for subdivision and I take over to County Planner . Receive diagram for new Boro Hall flagpole so I know how deep to have hole dug before ground freezes.
11-21	Screen won't start so call Hall's to come and repair. They had running later in morning, then screen Taylor Run sand. Dig hole for flagpole at Boro Hall then cover opening with insulation and piece of metal until pole arrives. Disconnect water and sewer service for home on N.Wmsn. Rd. that is to be demolished. Start working on paperwork needed by Northern Tier Planning on Ruah St. water project done this summer .
11-23	Work on Ruah St. water project paperwork. Remove screens on Hall's rental screen and replace with one screen that has 41' holes so gravel can be sorted to use in gabion wall on St. Mary's Street next year. Only able to screen gravel for about i hour today. Cut down small trees in Boro stockyard to make room for gravel piles.
11-25	Heavy wind and rain. Turn up chemical dosages at Bellman filter .
11-26	Take screens that were removed on the 23rd back to Hall's rental. Section of big pine tree at Park broke off and just missed new playground equipment by inches. Will clean up as time allows.
11-27	Screen gravel at Boro stockyard. Dave Jones and I look at running electric for light at new Boro Hall flagpole. Have to dig a trench for conduit before ground freezes. Planning Commission meeting-Discuss billboards and towers and would like to know if Council wants them to look into ordinances regulating their being built in the Borough.
11-28	Finish screening gravel. Called Hall's to come pick up screen. Haul waste from Bellman filter basement to stp. Work on Ruah St. water project paperwork. Supervisor from Hamilton Twp. called about getting cost estimates for street employee and police to review at their 12/4 meeting. Will have Chief work up some costs.
11-29	Clean up screen and Hall's pick up in morning. Boro engineer in town to do weight limit and study on East Creek Rd. and White St. Pick up repaired snow plow pistons from shop. Put salt and cinder spreaders on truck. Finish up paperwork for Ruah St. water project. Will mail out tomorrow.
