Date	Activity
5-3	Flush hydrants on side streets located off Main St. Dan dropped a manhole lid on his foot while flushing water into sewer. He broke his foot in 3 places. Level gravel over Granger St. toward cul-de-sac. Mark blocks at pool that needs replacement.
5-6	Start spring cleanup. Haul 6.93 tons of junk to landfill.
5-7	Pick up 5.97 tons of junk for spring cleanup. Do some of tomorrow's route. Pickup repaired steering arm for grader from ABC Gaines. Flush hydrants on Schuylkill St. and Maple Hill Rd. Municipal Authority meeting.
5-8	Pickup 3.94 tons of junk for spring cleanup. Call Staimen's to check on status of dumpster for metal. They will deliver tomorrow. Mockenhaupt Associates meet with employees and Tom Bogaczyk about current pension plan. Tom and I to go over some changes at a later date. Start calling contractors about bidding new chlorine contact pit at stp.
5-9	Dan, Matt and I go to water class in Wellsboro all day. This is a 3 day class which will be held once a week. Pick up tomorrow's route for spring cleanup to get ahead on pickup. Fill up Staimen's dumpster with metal. Call Staimen and order 2 more empty dumpsters. Put repaired steering rod back in grader. Tried out grader and rod broke again. Order a used part from Allenwood Equipment for grader steering. Rain off and on all day.
5-10	Finish up spring cleanup. Collect 4.15 tons of junk and haul to NTSWA. Ted Kelchner drop off information for football bleachers. Trickling filter at stp stuck again. Was able to move around and get operating again. Dan type up directions on computer for flushing hydrants. Locate water leak on service line to home on S. Wmsn. Rd. Give them 30 days to repair.
5-11	Island Park cleanup.
5-12	Heavy rains caused dirty water at Bellman Run. Shut down filter plant and turn on Sportsman's well.
5-13	Turn water on to pool bathrooms. Remove 6 x 6 posts from around playground at park. Meeting with Pat Barrett in Canton to discuss legal issues. Clean up tree at park. Council meeting.
5-14	Dave Jones work with Boro crew to check out street lights in front of Recreation Building at Park. Replace bulb in one light, but can't reach the other light and will need a bucket truck. Start Bellman filter back up. Clean out clivus multrum pit at Park. Flush hydrants on 8" loop and at NPHC. Clean Pool with muriatic acid in preparation for painting. Hydraulic oil leak on garbage truck. Repair oil leak on garbage truck. Cold patch potholes. Flush hydrants on Davis and Morris Sts. Contact Fire Co. and they brought over snorkel truck so Dave Jones could reach other street light in front of Recreation Building.
5-15	Dan and Matt go to computer class in Williamsport. Take down Harold Franke clock at Park for repair. Staimen pick up full dumpster and drop off another empty .Fill second dumpster in afternoon. Call Staimen for one more empty dumpster. Start painting pool. Write up 56 48-hour stickers.
5-16	Finish flushing hydrants. Go to Williamsport for load of cold patch. Talk to Mike Hale about Taylor Run trees. He will be at next Authority meeting. Work on well sites at NPHC. Coal Festival carnival start moving in.
5-20	Pump motors at NPHC wells are not interchangeable. Will call well driller for cost estimates to check out upper well sites. Girls painting pool today. Move visitor football bleachers to baseball field . Attend DEP roundtable discussion at Wellsboro in afternoon. Discussed new water regulations and certification requirements. Clean out most of chairs from Council Room and bring up voting booths for primaries tomorrow. Will set up booths after Recreation meeting tonight. Get used steering unit for grader from Allenwood Equipment. Recreation meeting - discuss purchase of signs to be placed around park restricting animals from inside perimeter of road and repairing leak in softball restrooms. STSD shop class made 6 picnic tables. Will pick up and take over to park.
5-21	Contractor pour some concrete deck at pool. Finish up pool painting. Primary voting today. Mark out for new sidewalk extension at Boro Hall. Clean out drying beds at stp and patch holes In block walls between beds. Belawski landscape around Boro Hall and Memorial. Put used steering unit on grader. Works really well. Meet with Williamson Land Company about sewer to new development on old Rt. 15.
5-22	Dig out for new sidewalk at Boro Hall. Barricade off area. Remove voting booths from Council Room. Talk to NTSWA about hauling grease debris from stp drying beds to Burlington. Will bring up at next Authority meeting. Contact low bidder about construction of new CI2 contact pit at stp .
5-23	Shut off 4 customers for non-payment of water and sewer bills. Turned one back on after payment received . Dan, Matt and I attend second water class in Wellsboro all day. Staimen's pick up second dumpster filled with metal and drop off another empty. Crew filled up dumpster and hauled old refrigerators to NTSWA. Concrete crew in to form up part of new Boro Hall sidewalk.
5-24	New Cat backhoe delivered today and old hoe taken away. Concrete poured in first half of Boro Hall sidewalk. Well driller check out NPHC well with John Eckman and Dave Jones. Will send Authority a cost estimate to do work. Drop 4 beds of sludge at stp.
5-26	Start filling pool in afternoon.
5-27	Order signs for Island Park from Bradco Supply which will restrict animals from inside the park.
5-28	28 Concrete crew form for rest of new sidewalk at Boro Hail. then pour walk in afternoon. Finish grading Granger St. up to cul-de-sac. Work at pool trying to get ready for opening. Electric control box for pool motor is bad. Call Denny Electric for new parts. Finish up plumbing for new slide.
5-29	Dave Jones put new parts in control box for pool motor. Work on making road to upper well site at NPHC for well drillers. Concrete crew pullout forms from new Boro Hall sidewalk. We put topsoil along edge of new walk.
5-30	Dan, Matt and I attend last DEP water class in Wellsboro. Install meter pit to camp behind old Time Saver. Work at upper well site at NPHC taking pipes apart in basement. NTSWA pick up material we cleaned out of drying beds at stp. Clean pool floor and hope to open this week for swimming.
