  • Take apart old water meters at garage. Will sell brass at scrap prices.
  • Clean chorine contact pits at stp.

3-1
  • Regular garbage man sick so send other employees to do work.
  • Two employees off on vacation all week.
  • Cold patch potholes around town.
  • Call NTSWA about wood chipper. They have one available when we need it.

3-2
  • Garbage man sick. Send other employees to collect garbage.
  • Talk to Lisowski about doing work on excavator. He'll will work on tomorrow.
  • Authority meeting.

3-3
  • Garbage man sick. Other employees fill in for him.
  • Lisowski take bad part out of excavator and will repair at his shop.
  • Two 5PH motors from stp done at repair shop. Send someone down to pick them up.

3-4
  • Garbage man back to work.
  • Install both 5HP motors back in pit at stp.
  • leak on water line to vacant home on S. Wmsn. Rd. Turned off curb box.
  • lisowski install repaired part in excavator. Machine operates a lot better now.

3-5
  • Pull one 15HP recirculating pump at stp and check for loose fittings. Re-install after tightening impeller.
  • Install 20-ton weight limit signs on both ends of White St. and E. Creek Rd. Called a Hamilton Twp. Supervisor and told him about signs being in his municipality.
  • NTSWA start sweeping Main St. and N. Wmsn. Rd. in afternoon.

  • Dirty water at Bellman Run because of rain and snow melt so shut down Bellman Filter and turn on Sportsman's Well.

  • Start Bellman filter back up.

3-8
  • Use NTSWA chipper to start chipping brush along Ruah St. Unit not running good. Will check out tomorrow.
  • Work on 10-wheel dump truck.
  • Council meeting.

3-9
  • Can't get chipper running properly so take back to NTSWA.
  • Finish work on 10-wheel dump truck.
  • Clean gas domes for clarigesters at stp.
  • Mark out railroad property owned by Borough onto maps and send to solicitor .

3-10
  • Rent chipper from Wellsboro Rental to finish chipping brush along Ruah St. then move down to E. Creek Rd.
  • Work on stp grease pumps. Take apart at garage. Need parts so will call Kappe Associates to see if they are available.

  • Mail Boro pension information to PSAB's new actuary .
  • Chip brush along E. Creek Rd.
  • Call Probation Dept. in Wellsboro about getting help to clean Island Park this spring. Will call them one week before they are needed.

3-12
  • Cut brush along E. Creek Rd .
  • Wellsboro Assessment person stop at office to discuss building permits submitted to County.

3-15
  • Start reading meters today.
  • Pick up 1-ton dump from Cleveland Repair. Put salt spreader on truck and fill with salt. Calling for snow tomorrow.
  • Hilfiger spread gravel on driveway to new F/A Building.
  • Get VIN for new F550 dump truck so loan paperwork can be finished at FCNB.

3-16
  • Snow start around 9AM. Salt kept roads in good shape during the morning. Start plowing roads in afternoon.
  • Got loan paperwork signed for new F550 dump truck.
  • Read meters in morning.

3-17
  • Crew in early to plow streets. Got about 6-8" of snow.
  • Work on paperwork for Zoning Hearing Board meeting advertisement. Call lawyer, stenographer and Board members to set date for meeting.

3-18
  • Read water meters.
  • Repair stop sign on Taber St.
  • Locate water leak at vacant home on S. Wmsn. Rd. Shut off at curb.
  • Get date set for Zoning Hearing Board on 4/14, when everyone is available.

3-19
  • Snow another 2-3" last night. Plow streets where necessary and sun melted off rest of roads.
  • Garbage truck not want to start. Call NTSWA and they sent a truck down to collect garbage with Rich.
  • Hydraulic pump broke on 1-ton. Remove pump so another can be ordered.

3-22
  • NTSW A send truck to town to help Rich collect garbage. Use pickup to collect recyclable.
  • Work on garbage truck and can't get working. Call repair shop to come pick up truck for repair .
  • Mail Planning Commission notes.
  • Meetings with Ray Kaminski and Mike Stoudt on new building permit regulations.

3-23
  • Take junk metal to Williamsport.
  • Start work repairing fence at stp pump house.
  • Wrecker pick up Boro garbage truck to get repaired.
  • NTSWA send truck to help Rich with garbage collection.
  • Read meters.

3-24
  • Cut trees on E. Creek Rd. Will let trees lay for now then get chipper later to grind everything up.
  • Rich pick up recycling with Boro pickup, then NTSWA help him collect garbage.
  • Meeting with Dave Jones on water budget figures.
  • Shut down Bellman filter at night because of power outage .

3-25
  • Repair shop got garbage truck running. Should be able to get truck tomorrow.
  • Finish cutting brush on E. Creek Rd., and then go to other streets in town to cut brush along roads.
  • Start up Bellman Filter .
  • TCAB meeting at new F/A Building.

  • Bring Borough garbage truck back to town.
  • Finish fence repair at stp pump house.
  • Meet with Dave Jones on water budget.

3-29
  • Level cinders on track at Island Park. Will let ground dry out, then level again later before rolling everything.
  • Work on getting water from hydrant for new Rt. 15 bridgework on north end of town.

3-30
  • Pump sludge from secondary clarifier into half of new drying beds.
  • Work on fencing which will be installed on outside railings of new footbridge.
  • Planning Commission meeting.

3-31
  • Dan and I go to Pittsburgh to bring back new F550 Dump truck.
  • PRWA listen for leaks in town. Possibly located 2 leaks.
  • Pump water out of pool and wash down walls.
  • Work on fencing for new footbridge.
  • Finish work on track at Island Park.

4-1
  • Work on new F550 Dump truck to get our salt spreader working from trucks hydraulic lines.
  • Finish framework for new footbridge and paint. Will let paint dry over the weekend.
  • Starting to get a rush on building permits so they beat the 4/9/04 deadline.
