Date	Activity
6-3	Rain off and on all day. Work in garage cleaning equipment. Televise sewer line on S. Wmsn. Rd., trying to locate any sewer lateral for vacant lot. Did not find anything.
6-6	Excavate sewer lateral servicing adjoining property on S. Wmsn. Rd. and connect wye, with cleanout, for vacant lot . Pump salesman go to STP to look at recirculating pump pit so he can check out a replacement pump. He will send information to the office on pump curves. Heavy rains at noon. Got about 1/2 of rain in 3/4 hour. High winds not cause much trouble for Boro crew.
6-7	Install water service to vacant lot on s. Wmsn. Rd. Go to Elmira STP with Authority engineer. Want to see their operation to figure out how they are controlling their Nitrogen and Phosphorus discharges. Replace 7 broken grates at Island park pool. Authority meeting at night.
6-8	Fill potholes in dirt roads. Disconnect water and sewer service to home torn down on N. Wmsn. Rd. Work on s. Wmsn. Rd. rebuilding meters. Meet with J. Eckman and cement contractor about sidewalk at Library .
6-9	Install new catch basin and drainpipe at intersection of Schuylkill St. and Maple Hill Rd. New basin will connect into storm drain project scheduled for July. Replace belt on Ford tractor mowing deck. Zoning Hearing Board meeting-Pass special exemption for converting single- family home to duplex on Maple Hill Rd.
6-10	Televise storm drain on Maple Hill Rd. looking for any miscellaneous connections. Inspect new blacktop at Boone Run Rd. cul-d-sac and discover that tractor- trailers have dug up pavement when turning around. Will contact developers. Order another 200 tons of screenings from Hawbaker. Will use material for cinders during the winter .
6-13	Start locating water main valve box lids around town. Loosen lids and clean out debris so ready to flush hydrants and exercise valves this weekend. Disconnect old water service on S. Wmsn. Rd. that fed home on Wilson St. because they connected to new service line on Wilson St. Clean ditchline on S. Wmsn. Rd.
6-14	Start reading meters today Seed and mulch topsoil on visitor's side of football field. Tap water line on Davis St. for St. Andrew's Hall. Discuss Rt. 15 property with Realtor and found out that property owner has put home on market to sell at a more reasonable price.
6-15	Read meters. Install catch basin on Joseph St. in front of fire hydrant.
6-16	Read meters. Chevy 1-ton not starting properly. Take to repair shop. Cement around drainpipes in Joseph St. catch basin. Local contractor haul lB stone for tar and chip work this summer. Stockpile at STP and behind Bear A Bar .
6-17	Push IB stone behind bar up into pile, to make room for more stone. Finish reading meters. Attend seminar at Williamsport on BNR reduction for STP. Remove old bleachers by pool and take to scrap pile. Remove wooden fence inside pool for better visibility to baby pool by lifeguards.
6-18 & 19	Flush hydrants.
6-20	Remove old section of sidewalk at Library and install subbase for new walk. Contractor will form and pour section of new walk later this week Rebuild meters on S. Wmsn. Rd. Mark out roads for leveling before they are tar and chipped later in summer.
6-21	Clean up areas of roads needing blacktop. Order new recirculation pump for STP. Boro Budget meeting in morning.
6-22	Get 15 tons of blacktop from Williamsport to level sections of road around Island park and on Water St . Air line on truck broke on way back from Williamsport with load of blacktop. Repair airline by Turkey Ranch on Rt. 15 and get truck back home for blacktopping. Contractor start forming for Library sidewalk.
6-23	Send truck for another 10 ton of blacktop. Blacktop plant broke down while there and then air line broke again by KwickFil1 in Blossburg. Got line repaired again, then work late paving on Water St., St. Mary's St., and some of Granger St . Budget Committee met with salesman about new floor covering in Boro Hall.
6-24	Send truck for another 15 tons of blacktop. Air line on truck broken again, south of Turkey Ranch on Rt. 15. Repair line and get truck back to town for blacktopping. Pave Granger, McIntyre, Hannibal, and Davis Sts. Start leveling road at East Creek Rd. Contractor pour section of Library sidewalk. Found small leak in muffler causing air line problems. Take truck to repair shop after finish with blacktopping.
6-25	Flush hydrants.
6-26	Flush hydrants. Two kids broke into Rec. Bldg.
6-27	Topsoil areas around town where work was done early in spring. Rebuild meters on S. Wmsn. Rd. Recreation meeting-Stumps at Island Park being ground down.
6-28	Work on rebuilding meters on S. Wmsn. Rd. Remove concrete driveway on north end of Library parking lot. Contractor will form tonight and pour tomorrow. Truck done at repair shop. Pick up in afternoon. Start replacing privacy boards on softball field restrooms. Planning Commission meeting-Approve Clark variance for installing deck on back of home. Make recommendations for cell tower ordinance. Heavy rains during the night. Shut down Bellman filter
6-29	Get 15 tons of blacktop to level Carpenter St. and finish E. Creek Rd. Storm drain plugged up on Maple Hill. Clean up road and unplug drain. New recirculating pump delivered to STP and installed.
6-30	Send truck to get 5 tons of blacktop to finish up small patches around town. Take roller back to rental shop when done blacktopping. Work on installing privacy screen at softball restroom. Clean chlorine contact pit at STP .
