  • Blacktop on Diehr, Mill & Hanibal Streets and some for downtown parking lot enlargement.

  • Start filling Island Park pool.

  • Blacktop some streets and downtown parking lot enlargement.
  • Flush drain at Island Park pool and install filters.
  • State Archives return Borough minute books that were microfilmed.

  • Level up some streets with blacktop in preparation for tar and chipping.
  • Install new 10 HP motor at pool to run filter.

  • Finish leveling roads with blacktop that will be tar and chipped this year .
  • Dave Jones finish wiring at pool for 10 HP motor. Start pool filter in afternoon.

  • Install 2A stone along birms of roads we paved. Pack in stone with roller, and then take roller back to rental store.

  • Clean up birm behind Dollar General.
  • Clean up brush along Tioga River behind Boro Hall. Big trees along river in really bad shape. Able to push over with backhoe because bases were rotten
  • Cold patch potholes on Ruah St. in front of Health Center .

  • Finish removing all trees along Tioga River that we can push down safely. Call tree cutter about removing last 3 trees on riverbank that are around wires.
  • Locate ends of storm pipes along Tioga River where trees were removed. Mark pipes with fiberglass stakes.
  • Call for price quotes on 1 B stone, which will be used for tar and chipping roads.

  • Gravel Mill St. birm where trees were removed along Tioga River.
  • Level dirt along Ruah St. birms where road was widened.
  • Order ½" rebar for steps that will be made at garage for St. Mary's St. gabion wall project.

  • Ed start checking Island park for anything that has to be repaired/replaced. Try to do once a week.
  • Loader would not start, contact Cleveland Bros. to repair .
  • Mail out letter to homeowners affected by road oiling. Roads scheduled for MC-30 on 7/6.
  • Support pole snapped and exterior wall pushed out in cinder shed at garage. Will remove cinders so repairs can be made.

  • Start repairing damaged areas of cinder shed.
  • Order 1 B stone for tar and chipping roads.
  • Solicitor, surveyor and I discuss Mill St. right-of-ways at site.
  • Start work on building forms for new steps at St. Mary's St. gabion wall project. Will pour sections at garage.

  • Work on St. Mary's St. wall steps.
  • Skimmer pad on stp clarigester fell off .Will get another fabricated to replace it.
  • Council meeting at night. Accept bid for old ambulance building from Acorn Market.

  • Repaired "Call Out" box replaced at Bellman-Filter.
  • Floodlight installed on rear wall of Boro Hall, which will illuminate parking lot better .
  • Start reading water meters .

  • Read meters.
  • Finish forms for St. Mary's St. wall steps. Order concrete for delivery tomorrow.
  • Add gravel on E. Creek Rd. to fill potholes and rough areas.
  • Zoning Hearing Board meeting on home occupation application.

  • Pour concrete for gabion wall steps. Will keep damp and let cure slowly in garage before removing forms.
  • Acorn Market reps. in to discuss old ambulance building. They are very interested in railroad property behind Market.
  • Call 3 loggers about purchasing trees along E. Creek Rd. that are to be removed to allow sunlight onto road.

  • Read water meters.
  • Install an additional support post next to repaired post in cinder shed.
  • Repair potholes on dirt roads.

6-21
  • Finish filling potholes and rough areas on E. Creek Rd.
  • Pump backwash water out of Sportsman's Well basement and dump into sewer manhole.
  • Start removing forms for steps for St. Mary's St. gabion wall. Cover concrete with damp burlap so will cure slowly.
  • J. Eckman and M. Stoudt take Forestry man to look at trees on Taylor Run property .

6-22
  • Police Chief and I meet with Mr. Scroback about his property on Rt. 15.
  • DEP, Hydrogeologist, and Authority members look at possible well sites on E. Creek Rd .
  • Level off gravel on E. Creek Rd .

  • Work on reinforcing walls in cinder shed.
  • Put out 48-hour stickers for water and sewer .

6-24
  • Start work on St. May's St. wall. Remove old wall and start installing gab ion baskets. Haul large rocks from stockpile at stp. Got 2 large baskets installed.

6-25
  • Work on St. Mary's St. gabion wall. Got 41arge baskets and 2 shorter baskets installed today.
  • VIBE Organization has ordered a banner to advertise meetings at Library. Will hang banner on wire between street lights in downtown parking lot.

6-28
  • Send truck to pick up rental broom for front of backhoe. Will use to sweep streets that will be tar and chipped this year .
  • Work on St. Mary's St. gabion wall. Broke sewer line to a home and had to repair. Got 2 large gabion baskets installed.
  • Reconvened Council meeting to pass new Construction Code regulations.

6-29
  • Sweep roads with backhoe.
  • Work on gabion wall. Got past water service to home. Got baskets laid to within 6' of fire hydrant.
  • Hang VIBE banner on wire between street lights in downtown parking lot.
  • Planning Commission meeting-Vote for approval of home occupation at S. Wmsn. Rd. residence to detail vehicles.

6-30
  • Finish section of gabion wall on St. Mary's St. toward church, then level sidewalk above completed gabion wall. Topsoil along both sides of sidewalk.
  • Finish sweeping roads that are to be tar and chipped, then return rental broom.
  • Haul sludge form Bellman Filter basement to sewer manhole on Island Park.
  • Shovel sludge at stp into center of drying beds.
