- Start cutting blacktop for water line on Ruah Street. Mark water and sewer services on Ruah Street.
- DEP in town to take tests of water at the end of lines for trihalomethanes and halo acetic acid.
- Order spare parts for recirculation pumps at STP.

- Work on equipment.
- Locate sewer manhole on Carpenter Street and raise up 6" so it is the same height as the top of the blacktop.
- Receive updated CCR information from PRWA.

- Send extra guy on garbage truck so route can be finished early.
- Send truck for new front tires in the afternoon.
- Call Tioga County for new assessment figures so Budget Committee can start adjusting millage for 2002 budget.
- Horton Electric delivered repaired CL2 pump. We put it back on the pool chlorination.
- Employee's shed broken into over the holiday. Install new door lock and dead bolt. Have heavy screens made for both windows.

- Have 2 men on garbage truck again today to get caught up on recycling.
- Call Horton Electric about getting a spare motor for the CL2 at the pool.
- Mark out parking lot behind new Boro Hall for blacktop. Old lines were gone after lot was leveled off.

- Install water meter pit for new home on Maple Hill Rd.
- Jackhammer road so new service can be installed tomorrow.
- Topsoil along Hannibal St. where new water line was installed a month ago.
- Put wire framed screens over windows of employee's shed.

- Two employees attend class in Wellsboro on sewer coagulation and sedimentation. Instructor agreed to come to Blossburg STP on 8/8.
- Install 3/4" copper water service to new home on Maple Hill Rd.
- Lawyer at office in morning to discuss legal issues.
- Call homes that will be affected by oiling on Monday.
- Help move shed for Booster Club to football field.

- Install sewer line to new home on Maple Hill Rd.
- Chemicals for pool and filter plants delivered today.
- Problems with recirculating pump wiring at STP. Call Mike Stoudt for repair.

- Take 2" electric pump to STP and try to pump water from secondary clarifier to trickling filter while recirculating pumps are down.
- Install new 3/4" water line to new home on Joseph St..
- Turn on water to new home on Maple Hill.

- Attend DEP meeting in Troy on new water regulations.
- Clean grates and storm pipes on Granger St then go around town and start cold patching pot holes.
- Dig up sewer clean out on Joseph St and put extension on pipe. Will reset manhole cover once landscaping is done in front of home.
- Mark out edges of Water and Joseph Streets for new blacktop to be laid later this month. Clear off grass and add 2RC where needed.
- Talk to stone mason about repairing cement work at Veterans Monument. He will submit a price quote for next Council meeting.

- Work on grading road and cleaning ditch lines on Joseph St before blacktoppers come.
- Met at Canton with PRWA and local managers to discuss setting up a committee of local municipalities for better communication.
- M. Stoudt check electric at STP recirculating pumps. Suggest we check conduit outside building to make sure pipe hasn't shifted and cut wires.

- Raise sewer clean out on Post St for blacktoppers. Put 2RC around cover until they get here.
- Dig up electric conduit at STP control house and looks OK Think we found the problem with electric by the recirculating pump motor. Repair wires and will have Mike check wiring at night. Everything OK now.
- Rebuild other recirculating pump at garage and install back at STP and leave both pumps running.
- Meeting between Council and Fire Co. to discuss old Boro Hall. Council to start paperwork on turning building over to Fire Co.

- Shut off one recirculating pump at STP because it was vibrating too much. Leave other pump running.
- Cut rest of blacktop on Ruah St. for new water line installation.
- Cold patch potholes around town. Patch all gone.
- Repair catch basin on Seymour St. by St. Andrews Church.

- Install 12 tons of paving on streets around town for water repairs during the last month. Areas that needed repair are all ready for blacktoppers who will be in at the end of the month.
- Hamilton Township got a $1.5 M grant and a $509,593.00 loan from PennVest for running sewer lines in Morris Run.

- Go to Montoursville and get 16 tons of cold patch for stockpile.
- Check over equipment. Load 6" pipe on trailer, haul stone to site in preparation for starting Ruah St. water project again.
- Complaint of dirty water from home on Ruah St. Explained to them about water project. Told them they could pick up chemical at Boro Hall which will take stains out of white clothes.

- Work on cleaning up stone rake and repainting.
- Install 72' of 6" DIP and tap 2 - 3/4" corps. on Ruah St. Put 7' of 3/4' copper on one corp and set curb stop. Leave hole open for connection to existing service when line has been charged and disinfected.
- Put out 48 hour stickers on 44 homes.
- Explosion at 6:20 PM heard from Tioga County, PA to State of Virginia. Blamed on meteor breaking up.

- Put second recirculating pump back in pit at STP.
- Cut weeds down around old Boro Hall.
- Install 90' of 6" DIP on Ruah St and tap corp. for church service line. Dig out around another service line and leave hole open. Fence off around hole for the night.
- The Sign Shop from Mansfield in town to take pictures so a design can be made up for decals to go on Boro and Authority equipment. Would like to incorporate "Coalie Pickman" into the design.
- Blacktop contractor at office and they should be in town to do work on August 3 or August 6.

- Install 6" tee and valve for hydrant connection on Ruah St. water line. Put in 54' of 6" DIP past hydrant tee and tap three corps. Run 3/4" cooper to curb stop and leave hole open for connection at a later date.

- Shut off water to Ruah St and cut pipe feeding hydrant. Transfer hydrant to new 6" DIP line and cap off old line which fed hydrant. Install 36' of 6" DIP and tap one corp.

- Install 54' of 6" DIP on Ruah St. and tap one new corp. Locate existing water main under blacktop about 18" away from new line. Hopefully old water main is lower than new line and we will be able to install new line over it.
- Go to Montoursville for more cold patch.

- AL Blades stockpile 1B stone in school parking lot. Stone to be used for chipping Carpenter St. next week.
- Install 36' of ^' DIP on Ruah St. and tap one corp. Old water line coming into our ditch line and in the way. Cut pipe and cap end. Run temporary water service to three homes.
- Another contractor to look at monument for repair. He will look at later with someone else and submit a price quote to Council.
- Recreation meeting - Pool to remain open until Labor Day. New pool slide ordered and hope to install later this fall. Firemen to water the football field while giving practice lessons to new firemen on pump operation. Moved dumpster farther away from pavilion and Pete will disinfect with chlorine to stop odor problems.

- Recirculating pump at STP down again. Think hanger pipes may have bad welds. Will take out tomorrow morning and get repaired.
- Install 54' of 6" DIP and tap one corp. Set curb box and tie into one of the existing service lines that have a temporary feed from another direction. Once new water main is charged and disinfected we will be able to turn on new curb box and disconnect temporary feed.
