  • Repair water leak on Gulick St. water service line.
  • Take garbage truck to repair shop to have maxi-brake replaced.
  • Work on frames for outside structure of new footbridge.

  • Repair water leak on another Gulick St. water service.
  • Pick up garbage truck from repair shop.
  • Finish fence sections for new footbridge in garage. Will install on bridge tomorrow.
  • Jackhammer blacktop on Granger St. where water leak was located.

  • 6 Repair broken water meter remote wires at homes around town.
  • Attend seminar at Allentown on concrete paving.
  • Boro engineer and I review plans for expanding downtown parking lot.
  • Install water service to new home on William B. St.
  • Install fence sections to 4 outside corners of new footbridge .

  • Install sewer service to new home on William B. St.
  • Check infiltration in sewer manholes around town.

  • Repair water leak on 4" CIP at Granger St.
  • Install posters on Ward Mfg. & Fire Go. property for re-zoning.

  • Cold patch potholes around town.
  • Replace bolts holding air compressor in garbage truck. Have NTSWA send down truck to collect garbage.

  • Air compressor and governor bad on garbage truck. Send employee to Elmira for replacement parts.
  • Look at Health Center hydrant they want removed. Will do job for them, then rebill for time and material.
  • Heavy rains in afternoon. Shut down Bellman filter and turn on R&G well.

  • Got garbage truck operating before dinner, so sent NTSWA truck back to landfill.
  • Remove old fire hydrant on Ruah St. for Health Center .
  • Zoning Hearing Board meeting at Boro Hall for Steffen variance.

  • Work on garbage truck repairing oil leaks.
  • Work on equipment in garage.
  • Pick up limbs that were trimmed off trees along streets a few weeks ago.
  • Jerome, Tom and I discuss pension plan with representative from PSAB .

  • Replace remote wire on water meter pit at Schuylkill St. residence.
  • Cold patch potholes around town.

  • Grade dirt roads starting with East Creek.
  • Work on Island Park restrooms and pool plumbing.
  • Public hearing about re-zoning, Council meeting afterwards.

  • Grade on East Creek Rd.
  • Work on pool plumbing .
  • State Archives in Harrisburg pick up Boro minute books to get microfilmed. Will return books in 6-8 weeks.

  • Finish grading E. Creek Rd., then move grader to William B. St. to grade a couple of areas.
  • Work on trailer at garage to get ready for inspection.
  • Listen for water leaks at Taylor Run area of water system.

  • Have all fire extinguishers in Borough, Authority and Recreation buildings checked for their annual inspection.
  • Pump water out of two water main valve boxes so we can see what fell into them . Had to dig up top section of one of valves to remove debris.
  • Call NTSWA about their chipper. It is available so we will pickup this afternoon so limbs along E. Creek and St. Mary's St. can be cleaned up tomorrow.

  • Light rain all morning.
  • Chip brush along E. Creek Rd. and St. Mary's St.
  • Small leak in meter pit at Mitchell's trailer park. Will repair next week.
  • Fax info. on new Building Codes to Solicitor, no mention of public hearing.

  • Start flushing hydrants on S. Wmsn. Rd.

  • Topsoil areas dug up around town when repaired water lines and installed storm drains.
  • Flush hydrants on Gulick St.
  • Reconvened Council meeting.
  • Recreations Board-Discuss areas needing cleaned up at Park. Hire lifeguards for the summer. Agree to let soccer games be played on softball field.
  • Set up voting booths in Council Room .

  • Primary election today in Boro Hall Council room.
  • Grade William B. and Granger Sts.
  • Flush hydrants.
  • Work on pool repairing concrete .
  • Meeting with Forestry Dept. agent to discuss cutting some trees down along E. Creek Rd. to allow sunlight to reach dirt road. Marked some trees and he will figure cost that Boro will have to pay for trees. If Boro agrees to do the work, they have to contact a sawmill to recoup money by selling trees.

  • Put out 74 48-hour stickers today.
  • Install 20 ton weight limit signs on E. Creek Rd. and White St. at Boro limits.
  • Flush hydrants on Main St.
  • Dig out dirt along downtown parking lot, next to Memorial. Put in 12" of screened gravel, then 6" of 2A stone.

  • 29 Dig out 2 trees along downtown parking lot next to Hanibal St. to make room for parking lot expansion. Transplant trees at Boro Hall next to parking lot.
  • Dig out more dirt along parking lot by Memorial then put in screened gravel and 2A stone .
  • Finish flushing water lInes on side streets that are connected to Main St.
