3-28	Lisowski bring roller to garage for us to try out with option to buy. Level off and roll track at park and roll. Clean up old fencing and material that was removed from footbridge. Meet with Kerry Geykis on proposed Dollar Saver and Railroad subdivision. While in Wellsboro stopped at Conservation District to discuss NPDES II form for railroad property . Meeting with Heidi and Dave Jones on Boro/Police computers. Meet with PADOT about permit for sewer bore under Gulick St. for Dan Lamonski.
3-30	Get about 6" of snow. Salt hills and bad areas.
3-31	Plow and salt roads where necessary. Haul gravel to make landing along footbridge abutment so Crane Company can set up to remove girders from old footbridge. Schedule road boring for sewer line under Gulick St. for this Thursday. Call Duane Wetmore to complete NPDES II form for railroad property. Open 3rd Easy Access CD for Boro. Now they are staggered so money can be withdrawn from one CD each month. Start draining pool at Island Park. Recreation meeting.
4-1	1 Haul OGS off Bloss Mountain to spread over bad areas on East Creek Rd. Haul plywood from footbridge and store in salt shed. Municipal Authority meeting-Discuss tapping fees for Gulick St. trailer Park with co-owner .
4-2	One employee go to sewer class in Wellsboro. One more response on County questionnaire received today. Cut ends of fence off footbridge so ready for Crane Company to remove main girders tomorrow.
4-3	Ed Stanley still off sick. Wife took him back to Hershey for tests . Contractor in to bore hole under Gulick St. for sewer line to Dan Lamonski home. Got 6" sewer line connected from sewer main to front yard of Lamonski. Crane Company remove girders for old footbridge and set on Island Park side of Tioga River. Clean 2 drying beds at stp and then drop sludge into them in afternoon.
4-4	Start cleaning the drying bed at stp that is being used for sludge from secondary clarifier. Have to till up sand so ready for more sludge. Heidi Jones in to discuss Boro software for billing, payroll, and accounts payable. Mike Roche volunteering at Island Park to clean up branches that are lying all over.
4-5	Turn off Bellman Filter because of dirty water caused by rain.
4-7	Calling for 6-10" of snow today and tonight. Snow melting during day, but accumulated in some areas during the night. Have to call in crew at night to plow and salt hills. Remove broken throttle cable on loader and take it to Mansfield Truck Services. They will try and locate a new one. Hire John Nowakowski part-time to help get small jobs caught up around town. Pullout trees at War Memorial from both sides of soldier.
4-8	Dan, Pete Hall and I attend pesticide class in morning at Mill Hall. Meeting at footbridge with engineers. Surveyor at site later to discuss information needed by engineers for bid package . Start surveying railroad property on corner of Main and Nevins Sts. Remove filters at Island Park pool and found more broken elements. Have to order some spare filter components. Receive one more response to County Questionnaire. Total responses to date are 227 for a 29.5% return rate.
4-9	Two employees go to sewer class at Wellsboro in morning. Pump rest of water out of Island Park pool then start cleaning floor and sides of pool. Dig out dirt between support columns on Park side of footbridge. Engineer wants to get down to top of old concrete footers if possible.
4-10	Pick up piles of limbs at park with backhoe. Mike Roche clean up small debris and haul to scrap woodpile with wheelbarrow. Work on footbridge abutments. Only able to dig down about 8' with backhoe because of small area to maneuver in. Cut hole in side of sheet piling to expose support column inside. We are at water level, but still have about 3' to go down before reaching top of concrete footer. Will discuss situation with engineer . DEP at Bellman Filter to check out site and determine where their machines will be set up when doing filter plant performance tests in May.
4-11	Get other drying beds ready at stp so sludge can be dropped from clarigesters . Work oh footbridge abutments until rain started.
4-14	Patch potholes around town. Show Penn Dot rep. the cracks we need sealed in downtown parking lot for Agility Agreement. Have contractor look at concrete work needed at stp this summer. He will work up a price.
4-15	Penn Dot seal cracks in downtown parking lot. Haul old metal from footbridge away. Work on pool concrete repair. Rent sandblaster to clean up bad areas for repair.
4-16	One employee go to sewer class at Wel1sboro in morning. Sandblast bad areas of swimming pool concrete all day. Boro compressor quit running so had to rent compressor from Wellsboro Rental to finish job.
4-17	Finish cleaning drying bed that sludge from secondary clarifier is being pumped into. United Fire in to do yearly check of fire extinguishers for Boro and Authority . Drop off air compressor at repair shop on trip to rental yard to return sand blaster.
4-18	Holiday - Good Friday
4-21	Start patching concrete on pool at Island Park. Jim Weaver at footbridge site to check on environmental impact of new pedestrian bridge. First trailer moved into Gulick St. Trailer Park. Send invoice to Penn Dot for costs incurred by Boro for shoveling on State bridges under Agility Agreement. Contractor start putting up walls for new storage building on Island Park.
4-22	Flush water line at Gulick St. Trailer Park, then install meter in pit for new trailer. Work on repairing concrete at pool. Got rained off job in afternoon. Pick up new stainless baffle plate for pool filter.
4-23	Cold temperatures, snow flurries during the day. Two employees go to sewer class at Wellsboro in morning . Dig ditch for electric conduit to new Little League concession stand at park. LRM install surge protectors at Bellman Filter and R & G Well, then calibrate flow meter at stp. Contractor finish up walls for storage garage at park then put up one roof truss.
4-24	Finish running conduit up pole for Little League concession stand, then pull wires into conduit. Ready for Dave Jones to do wiring. Finish patching concrete at Island Park pool. Clean up rest of junk from old footbridge on McIntyre St. side of Tioga River. Start work on sewer budget. Contractor finish installing roof trusses on new storage building at park, then put sheathing and felt paper on half of roof.
4-25	Turn on water to toilettes in multrum restroom at Park. Dave Jones connect new electric service for Little League concession stand from pole by basketball court. Scott Bray at office to discuss new pedestrian bridge. Will set up a conference call with Roger Evans to discuss bridge structure options. Pick up repaired air compressor from shop in Williamsport. A fireman broke his arm and leg at old Boro Hall while moving a freezer down inside steps.
4-28	Turn on water to pool bathhouse and restroom behind Rec. Building. Advertise for flushing hydrants from 5/18 to 5/30. Clean out multrum restroom holding tank at Park. Clean pool walls with muriatic acid so ready for paint. Install stainless steel baffle plate in pool filter . Conference call with engineers for new pedestrian bridge. Decide on framework for structure, then figure out tentative schedule for bridge. Advertise for bids on 5/8; accept bids until 1 PM on 5/30, then open on the same day. Engineers will review bid proposals so Council can award a bid at the 6/9 Council meeting. Dave Jones works on spotlight for Boro Hall flagpole.
4-29	Cold patch potholes around town. Put coat of paint on repaired areas of pool concrete. Work on mowers for park. Measure old pavilion at park for new plumbing. Probation workers from County clean up at Island Park. Did good job in areas they cleaned.
4-30	Three employees go to sewer class at Wellsboro in morning. Start work on plumbing in park pavilion. Locate water leak to home near Taylor Run Rd. Solicitor at office to discuss legal matters with Jerome and Sally. Measure area at stp for new drying beds. Receive $5,000.00 from HUD for new pedestrian bridge.
5-1	Locate water leak to residence on Main St. Leak on homeowner side of curb box so they will have to repair. Calling for rain later today, so crew got areas around town that we excavated, seeded and mulched in morning. Cold patch potholes. Wetmore survey railroad property for NPDES II permit. Start putting final coat of paint on pool just doing wails today. Finish plumbing in park pavilion.
5-2	Probation workers clean up more debris at park. Got most of park done. Load junk metal from garage stockyard onto Staimen Truck. Staimen will leave a container for next week for metal pick up for spring cleanup. Haven's remove test pump from well behind NPHC. Haul sludge from Bellman filter basement.
