Date	Activity
3-28	Start cleaning up Metro Van for auction on 4/20. Review plumbing with crew for water job on Davis/Lynd Sts. so section of pipe can be put together at garage. Check flows in sewer lines and manholes. Put out eighty-two 48-hourstickers at delinquent residences. Discuss what trees need to be cut at Park with tree cutters. Move bleachers and bike rack out of way.
4-1	Go to Montoursville with Stuart Lisowski to look at equipment for another auction. Most of delinquent customers coming In to pay. Only have about 11 homes that "'may have to be shut off tomorrow.
4-2	Look up water curb box measurements for 11 delinquent customers. By end of day only have 4 homes still off. Give revised copy of Island Park user agreement to STSD. Agreement will be taken to a Committee then to the School Board. Talk to FCNB about financing for new backhoe. Municipal Authority meeting at night.
4-3	Trickling filter at stp stuck again. Replace 2 broken ball bearings. Dig around hydrant at corner of Davis/Lynd Sts., and then barricade off area for the night. Start stuff envelopes for CCR on Blossburg water system.
4-4	United Fire Co. in town to check fire extinguishers at water, sewer and Boro buildings. Dig up water pipe on Davis/Lynd Sts., where new plumbing will be installed in water main. Put sheet of metal over hole and barricade off area for the weekend. Make extra wooden barricades in garage.
4-5	Put new flagpole together at garage, then install at Boro Hall. Turn on power for spotlight. Will see how it looks tonight. Penn Dot rep. in to look at Boro streets. Mark out another area for new valves and water line on Davis St. , and then order materials.
4-6	Electric off at Bellman filter. Start shutting down plant, but power came back on before we finished. Get plant operating again by 12 PM.
4-8	Dig out rest of water line on Davis St. Problems shutting off a 2" valve so had to shut down more water main than had planned. New plumbing installed by 2 PM and start filling lines and flushing system. Will install hydrant later.
4-9	Haul stone for stockpile in Boro yard. Clean up tree that was cut down at park. Discuss sewer line location to property on old Rt. 15 owned by Williamson Land Co. with their engineer.
4-10	Send Matt Grinnell to Math Class in Coudersport for water and sewer all day. Start emptying pool. Water fittings for next project on Davis St. delivered. Review plumbing with crew so they can start putting sections of pipe together at garage. Install hydrant on corner of Davis/Lynd Sts. Pick up Boro/Authority decals from Sign Shop. Electric winch for sewer camera not working. Dave Jones checked out and replaced a bad capacitor .
4-11	Dan and I attend class in Harrisburg on filter plant operation. On way home, stop at UB Water Service to pick up more water fittings needed for next Davis St. water project. Work at pool washing down walls and floor . Cut sections of pipe at garage so can start putting some piping of plumbing together for Davis St. project. Jack Eckman called Hydro geologist about Ruah St. well. Hydro geologist does not think well by Ruah St. will be agreeable with DEP because of close proximity to road and buildings. Suggest we try second well up the hill farther. Will talk to electrician about what's needed .
4-12	Get rest of water pumped out of pool, and then finish washing down walls and floor. Topsoil yard at Boro Hall where flagpole and electric for flagpole spotlight was installed. Boro solicitor meet with Council people in afternoon.
4-14	Heavy rains at night. Raise chemical dosages at Bel1man filter .
4-15	Boro garage electric meter cover broken over weekend. Call GPU to repair and put caution tape around area. Start digging out for new water line section on Davis St. Dig out storm drain, and then cover hole with metal plate and barricade off. Dig out area around baby swing set at Island Park. Harold House bring load of chips to put under swings.
4-16	Dig out rest of area in Davis St. for water line replacement. Have old pipes removed and new plumbing installed and flushed by 6 PM. Josh Lisowski operate Bobcat loader for removing chips from trailer so they could be put under swing set at Park. Repair winch drum for sewer camera.
4-17	Remove salt spreader from 1-ton truck and store away for next winter. Clean up water job areas on Davis St. Turn on water to restrooms behind Recreation Building. Leak under concrete floor. Take 10-wheel truck to Rieppel & Crumb for repair on tailgate. Get title to Metro Van signed and notarized, then put paperwork in van which will be auctioned off in Bloomsburg this Saturday. Make out fourteen 48-hour stickers for delinquent water and sewer customers.
4-18	Lisowski load Metro Van on low boy and take to Bloomsburg for auction. Dave Jones check out electric for second well at Health Center on Ruah St. Motor set up, controls no good and underground wiring to main fuse panel has a short in it. Will disconnect motor from well shaft and see if shaft is loose. If shaft turns will get parts from first pump and transfer to second well site to see if we can test water source. Can't locate leak under restroom behind Recreation Building, so install new plumbing along inside wall to supply toilets and sinks. Neal Construction hopes to start on Veteran's Monument in 2 weeks and plans to finish before Memorial Day. They will call when coming to work. Make up 12 overdue stickers for garbage bills. Will give customers until 5/17 to pay up or will go to District Justice.
4-19	Finish plumbing in restroom behind Recreation Building and turned water on. Install extension on fire hydrant at corner of Davis and Hanibal Sts., and backfilled. Haul sludge from basement at Bellman Filter plant.
4-22	Repair sewer lateral to home on Morris St. and disconnect sewer lateral from another home to cut down on I & I. Work on pension information for Mockenhaupt Associates.
4-23	Grade East Creek Rd. Use stone rake to pull large rocks off road. Steering on grader broke. Call Jim Smith to repair. Topsoil areas around town that were dug up last year. Start installing wood framing around new plumbing in restroom behind KCC. Mail in pension information to Mokenhaupt. Finish up water CCR report for customers. Will mail out tomorrow.
4-24	Jim Smith repair grader in afternoon. Haul 2RC to East Creek Rd. and level off with backhoe. Will level better when grader is repaired. Finish installing wood framework around plumbing in restrooms behind KCC. Remove picnic tables from pavilion and distribute around park. Last computer class for Boro employees tonight at High School.
4-25	Finish work on East Creek Rd., then take equipment to Granger St. Remove shut off plat from bottom of trickling filter, and then take to garage to clean up. Will need to have working when work on trickling filter this summer. Take mowers to repairman.
4-26	Stone rake East Creek Rd. using Ford tractor for last time, then take tractor to garage and put mower back on it. Work at NPHC old well, but can't remove bad motor. Start flushing hydrants today. Start grading Granger St.
4-28	Heavy rains cause dirty water at Bellman Run. Turn off filter and turn on R & G well. Locate drainage from new Rt. 15 going into Bellman watershed. Will tell PennDot.
4-29	DEP run tracer study at Bellman filter, complete test at 10 PM. Didn't flush hydrants because of tracer study. Grade Granger St. File paperwork on 2 delinquent customers through DJ. Start work repairing pool concrete. Meeting between Council and Fire Co. Recreation meeting - Hire lifeguards for summer, keep price of pool tickets the same as last year, will take down Harold Franke clock for repair. and discuss possibility of having families pay to have carvings of trees cut down at park.
4-30	Turn on water to restrooms by softball field. Work on pool concrete. Grade gravel on Granger St. Steering broke on grader so level off gravel with the backhoe until grader is repaired . Finish flushing hydrants on side streets off of S. Wmsn. Rd. Surveyor in town to take flood elevation shots for different areas around town. Planning Commission meeting - Pequignot dog grooming. Fire/Ambulance Building. replacement of football bleachers.
5-1	Take broken steering part from grader to ABC Gaines for repair. Flush hydrants on Gulick and Main Sts. did not get streets off of Main St. done. Level gravel on Granger St. using backhoe. Show Penn Dot the storm drain on new Rt. 15, which flows into Bellman watershed and they will take care of it.
5-2	Heavy rains in morning. Increase chemical dose at Bellman filter. Storm drains at Granger/Carpenter Sts. 'intersection was plugged up. Use gas powered snake to unplug. Plugged out a bunch of tree roots. Start removing bark from stumps at Island Park.
